FRITSCH eprocessing

Bakery equipment: Dough sheet production and dough preparation – these are the two big areas in which FRITSCH GmbH is at home. Without a doubt the origins lie in the traditional handicraft rollfix sheeting machines, which are of course still part of the FRITSCH range. In the meantime, however, the main focus is sophisticated line technology consisting of dough sheet former and/or laminating lines and a large variety of preparation technology.

The wide range of products, which can be produced, includes croissants, Danish and puff pastry, pizza and flat bread, pretzels and twisted products, as well as artisan bread, bread rolls, baguettes and ciabatta.

FRITSCH e motion: Many small steps equal a giant leap

Bakeries are among the biggest consumers of energy in the entire manufacturing sector. Energy, as we know so well, costs money. A lot of money.

We could make life easy on ourselves and simply draw your attention to the fact that our processing plants -- in contrast to the energy consumption of baking ovens and flash freezers -- are responsible for a only a mere fraction of your total energy costs.

But that's not our style. Because any savings in energy, be it ever so small, is a blessing for both the environment and your budget.

And that's the motivation behind FRITSCH e motion: a comprehensive design that offers you improved technology, modern solutions, long-term durability and, last but not least, reduced energy consumption.

Easy on the environment and your economy, too.

HERE'S HOW WE CAN HELP YOU SAVE ON ENERGY COSTS

The drive segments of a production system offer a variety of application points that make possible the efficient exploitation of the primary energy. Motors, for example. Special energy-saving motors exhibit as much as up to 40 % less power loss than standard motors. Beginning on 1 January 2011, low-voltage three-phase motors of the energy-efficiency class IE2 will be required in all EU countries – FRITSCH has been implementing these motors since the beginning of 2009.

We haven’t compromised on the gears either. Worm gearing may be simple and reasonably inexpensive, but it requires considerably more energy than a more complicated cone or spur wheel gear. Any idea of the kind of gear we here at FRITSCH prefer?

Our drives have also been chosen on the basis of energy efficiency. Wherever technically feasible, we have implemented direct drives without power loss.

Thus, one thing leads to another and, in the end, to some considerable savings indeed.

HIGH PERFORMANCE THAT LASTS

If you consider the longevity of a production system to be as important a criterion of efficiency as the system's energy consumption, then you need look no further. We are convinced that FRITSCH systems are among the most efficient bakery lines produced in the world today. Because from the infancy of their design to the old age of their application, they are conceived and built to meet the heavy demands placed on them without the slightest whimper. Day in and day out. Year after year.

But it's not only the robust construction that you'll profit from, but also the flexibility. This means in all probability that you won't have to invest in a new system, and can retrofit your existing one instead. Or, in most cases, not even that will be necessary.

That reduces your total cost of ownership (and the environmental impact, too!)

And all of this together spells: FRITSCH e motion.
