Filo dough

Filo dough

The Middle Eastern and Asian regions are famous for the scrumptious tidbits prepared from thin, or phyllo, dough. One example is baklava, a typically Turkish sweet in a syrup made of honey, sugar, spices and rose water. Sambosa is another. These are the zesty pockets so heartily consumed in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Persia. And of course the eggrolls... Or chapati. Or specialties like paratha, poorie, and rice papad flatbreads and a thousand other delicacies from the lands of a thousand and one nights.

With FRITSCH laminating technology you are perfectly well-equipped to handle any task, be it the production of huge quantities, or of culinary delicacies requiring paper-thin dough sheeting measuring 0.3 to approx. 1 mm in thickness.
